Setting up the Oscars on Hollywood Boulevard

The whole world watches when the Oscars are on television.  I’m lucky enough to live close enough I can walk to Hollywood & Highland and the Kodak Theatre, to view the set up of this worldwide event.  Because the Oscars have such high security, you either have to camp out for tickets or be an A-list celeb to get past the guards.  It’s fun to be a part of the “before” process, but I must admit, more fun to watch on television.

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat that’s created & designed in less then 24 hrs, thats amazingly done. So are you going to be there when Oscars arrive next year? Or will security guards not let you enter without being A-Listed :P

Hi Renee, the Oscars do have very high security indeed! One thing I know is, watching them on televesion is much more fun, more enjoyable and intimate than watchign them live.

I used to go to the movies all the time but over the last few years Hollywood has become so far left liberal that it’s hard for me to even want to support them by watching their movies. I definitely could care less about their awards show . I will try to manage time to watch oscars next year..

It’s more fun to stay home and watch the awards ceremony, but the weeks leading up to the event are fun to walk around this area of Hollywood. You definately catch the fever!

Oscars themselves have proven at least once this decade to actually care for good filmmaking (TWBB, NCFOM, Atonement in the same year)
