From such famous name as Aldous Huxley to Madonna, many have called the Hollywood Hills home since it’s incarnation as Hollywoodland. What’s unique about the Hills is there are many distinct neighborhoods and Beachwood Canyon is one of them. One distinction is the Beachwood Market, instead of trekking to Franklin Ave. (Gelsons) you can grab a fantastic deli sandwich or a carton of milk, within walking distance. There is always parking and you’ll in inevitably run into a familiar face since. And, The Village has a dry cleaners and the notable Beachwood Cafe. One of my favorite is to an egg omelet on Sundays with lots of condiments. Some of the staff have been with the Cafe for years and it’s always hometown feel. Not what one might expect from the “Hollywood” cliches. Instead, you’re often greeted by your first name and can take a seat anywhere you like. The best part….it’s reasonably priced!
